Alma Advisors acted as exclusive financial advisor to Moving Doors on the acquisition of a majority stake by Golden Age Capital A.E.D.A.K.E.S., marking a key milestone in the company’s growth trajectory.
Having previously advised the company on its initial capital raise, Alma Advisors supported Moving Doors across this next phase of its development, facilitating its transition from early-stage growth to a strategic partnership with an institutional investor.
Golden Age Capital, manager of the “Golden Age Capital Private Equity Fund I”, has acquired a majority stake in Moving Doors, with the aim of accelerating the company’s international expansion and establishing a leading European platform in the premium serviced apartments and flexible living sector.
The transaction reflects increasing investor appetite for mid-market companies with scalable operating models, strong execution capabilities and clear international growth potential, particularly in sectors undergoing structural transformation.
Moving Doors has established a strong presence in Greece and Cyprus, operating a growing portfolio of premium serviced apartments supported by proprietary technology. Its model combines operational efficiency with a high-quality customer experience, positioning the company to scale across multiple European markets.
Thanos Geramanis, CEO of Moving Doors, commented:
“The entry of Golden Age Capital represents a strong vote of confidence in our model and our team, and provides the institutional support required to accelerate our development across new and existing markets. Alma Advisors has been a key partner in our growth journey, supporting us from our initial capital raise through to this strategic transaction. Their ability to combine strategic insight with execution was instrumental in helping us reach this milestone.”
The transaction highlights the importance of strategic advisory support for mid-market businesses navigating successive stages of growth, from initial capital raising through to institutional partnerships.
